Flights

Flights is an ambitious full-stack analytics platform designed to provide detailed insights into commercial flight operations, with a particular focus on environmental impact. The platform calculates improved CO₂ emission estimates and fuel consumption metrics for real commercial flights, helping users understand the environmental footprint of air travel.

The system features powerful search capabilities with multiple filter options, infinite scroll for browsing large datasets, and a live metrics dashboard that visualizes key statistics in real-time. While the project never reached 100% completion, it represents significant progress in building complex data analytics platforms. The architecture demonstrates effective separation of concerns between frontend and backend, efficient data processing pipelines, and intuitive data visualization techniques.
